Surface designer and painter Karla Pruitt lives in Athens, GA with her husband Joseph and corgi pups Okie and Tallulah. She works in her home studio illustrating repeat patterns for product development in home and apparel markets. Having grown up in Merritt Island, Florida, she harbors slight obsessions with bright pinks, a slower pace of life, and the retro floral fabrics her great grandmother might have sold in her 1960's Miami upholstery shop.

Currently, Karla's licensed artwork is represented by Next Day Art. Apparel patterns are available for purchase from Colette and Blue.
